We spent an entire week prepping and safeguarding this site so demolition only touches what’s meant to go, leaving the existing finishes clean and intact for the homeowner. @bfab.construction One of the first questions I get on any project is, “Can we do this without permits?” Simple answer: No. Not in Denver. Stop-work orders are real, and cutting corners isn’t an option. On this job, we discovered we’ll need to add a sub panel that wasn’t in the original scope. Still, it has to be engineered and installed to code. The building wasn’t built to code to begin with, so we’re making smart, budget-friendly modifications to get it safe, compliant, and ready for a real certificate of occupancy. @bfab.construction Big transformations are happening on set. 👀 We just removed a 2,000-pound chandelier... a full team, tons of scaffold, and some serious coordination. Now we’re updating the lighting, reworking the audio system, and prepping the space for a grand piano. Design vision is everything, but making it buildable is the real challenge. From wrapping structural features in black leather to mounting a massive jaguar on the wall, every idea has to be engineered to actually work. And yes... sometimes that means adding hidden backing in the walls to make the impossible possible.
