Once the foundation is in, the dirt has to be brought back to the proper elevation and slope so water moves away from the house and drains where it’s supposed to. On this project, the tarps have already taken a beating from sun and water, so they’ve been replaced multiple times. We also have plywood and additional tarps covering the floor to help prevent water from reaching the lower level.
