@bfab.construction One of the best parts about building a custom home is getting to know the people who will live in it. For Mackenzie, we knew one thing right away. She loves to read. So we installed bedside sconces with their own switches so she can comfortably read in bed anytime she wants. We even added a hidden library in the house just for that. This is also the stage where we look at the final details... gas lines for a grill, hot and cold water bibs, and any last additions before we wrap things up. @bfab.construction Down at the bottom of the elevator shaft 👇 What you’re looking at isn’t your typical wall. This drywall is glued directly to concrete, not screwed in. Tight space, precise work, no room for shortcuts. We’ve got the opening framed, and next up: ✔️ Finish + paint ✔️ Install the elevator (stilt system running floor to floor) ✔️ Lock it in and protect the entire area Once that elevator goes in… that’s it. No going back in there. Everything has to be right the first time.
