When the home was first designed, we were sitting 18 inches over an easement, so we had to go back, revise the plans, and adjust the layout. @bfab.construction When a client asked for black baseboards upstairs, we didn’t rush it... we tested it first. The existing baseboard had a vinyl-like finish, so we sent a sample to our paint team for a strike-off test to see if the paint would actually hold. The verdict? It would look good… but only for about a year before chipping and wear showed. Instead of cutting corners, we replaced all the baseboards upstairs to get the bold black finish the right way.
